Study on the Activity Model of PbO-ZnO-FeO-Fe2O3-SiO2-CaO Six-Component High-Lead Slag System

In this paper, the thermodynamic properties of PbO-ZnO-FeO-Fe2O3-SiO2-CaO six-component slag system were studied by using molecular-ion coexistence theory, and influence composition changes on activity each structural unit was analyzed. The results show that calculated value model is in good agreement with measured experiment, greatly affected slag, but less temperature. High temperature conducive to decomposition lead silicate formation calcium-containing compounds, ZnO will decrease. When mass fraction PbO increases, main reaction combine PbO·SiO2 form 2PbO·SiO2. Increasing CaO beneficial an increase activity. iron-silicon ratio it promote ZnO·Fe2O3, so calcium-silicon low, binary combination product SiO2 mainly CaO·SiO2, when rises above 0.5, activities 2CaO·SiO2 3CaO·2SiO2 rapidly.
